From Junction 18, follow the A46 towards Bath for about two and a half miles, passing The Crown Inn on your left and then Dyrham Park and the Tollgate Teashop on the right.
Immediately after the teashop, take a right turn (there are no directional signs). Continue along this twisting road for roughly a mile and a half until you arrive at the T-junction. At the junction turn right (signposted Bristol A420), then immediately left to HAMSWELL. Follow this twisting road past Toghill Farm on your right, down the hill and up another hill to a T-junction. After approximately 1.5 miles turn left. Keep going, past Lansdown Golf Club and Bath Racecourse on the right. Continue to the city outskirts. As you enter Bath you’ll see the Hare and Hounds pub on the left. You’ll then be driving downhill until you reach another T-junction with a church to your left. Turn right here, you’ll pass The Farmhouse Inn on the left, The Belvedere on the corner of Morford Street, and Grappa Bar near the corner of Julian Road. Continue past Julian Road on your right and take the next right into Bennett Street. Turn into Russel Street and the Queensberry Hotel is 50 yards up on the left-hand side. |
