Description

Manchester Metropolitan University Logo

Manchester Metropolitan University offers innovative, flexible spaces for events, conferences, summer schools and residential summer groups.

With multiple tiered lecture theatres (largest capacity 280, can stream across 3 to 750 participants),  breakout rooms in close proximity, integrated technology and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi.

Recent additions to the building stock for the venue include a full theatre and roof terrace overlooking the park in the new Arts & Humanities building ‘Grosvenor’, as well as multiple hi-tech facilities in the School of Digital Art (SODA) and another 500 en-suite rooms at Archway Halls of residence.

Excellent customer service is important to Manchester Met and their aim is to provide an enjoyable inclusive experience for everyone. Accreditations for the University include Visit England 4 star campus accommodation, AIM secure status and Green Tourism Gold.

Manchester Met prides itself on the integrated approach it takes to sustainability and social responsibility. It is the greenest University in the UK, and the conference team aim to build on this achievement to make your event as environmentally friendly as it can be, using locally sourced produce for hospitality, no single use plastic, and encouraging all events to try their innovative GROW range of vegetarian meals and snacks.

They also reinvest £1 from every day delegate rate spent at the University by giving back to the Real Change MCR fund, which is part of Manchester’s drive to end homelessness in the city.
