The Fisherman’s Rest is the life and soul of Wyreside lakes. The Restaurant caters for all tastes, from a hearty English breakfast on to lunch, sandwiches and bar snacks. On weekend evenings we offer an extensive choice of home cooked pub style fayre at reasonable prices and a takeaway menu for those who wish to eat in the comfort of their caravan/bivvy or tent! Will customers please note: The restaurant is only open all day on Fridays and Saturdays and on Sunday morning in the main season (March-December) and from October 1st 2011 the restaurant will be closed Sunday to Thursday. Take outs will still be available at specified times. During the winter, make yourself cosy by the roaring log fire then in the summer months; take your drinks and meals outside to our beer garden to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful countryside. The Fisherman’s Rest is an ideal venue for various types of functions from birthday parties and wedding receptions to corporate meetings. We can organise everything from catering to entertainment and any other requirements you may have. Mid-week bookings for clubs and associations are also very welcome. Come and enjoy some good traditionally home cooked food, lively music and chat in our friendly family atmosphere! All of our meals are prepared and cooked freshly to order.
