Manchester Meeting Place has 10 meeting rooms which include two boardrooms and flexible meeting rooms seating 20-90 theatre style, all come equipped with a data projector, screen, flipchart and free Wi-Fi access. There is also a 100 seat restaurant or the more informal Hub where delegates can enjoy refreshments and buffet style lunches. The Barnes Wallis building has two meeting rooms, one seating 65 cabaret style and the other seating 150 cabaret style, the rooms also work well together as meeting space for up to 120 theatre style with poster/exhibition and catering. Across the campus, the neo-Gothic Sackville Street Building has the Great Hall, a stunning setting for presentations up to 300 and formal dinners for 180, and the Entrance Hall which works well for pre-dinner drinks receptions or daytime catering.

Across the city centre on the Oxford Road Campus, is our flagship conference venue, University Place, a popular choice for national and international conferences, with a 1000 seat auditorium which divides into a 600 and 280 seat theatre, along with 23 seminar rooms, a 450 seat restaurant, a 500m2 exhibition space and adjacent marquee area.

The Whitworth Hall sits across the road from University Place and with its woodpanelled walls and hammerbeam roof has a "Harry Potter" feel to and is an amazing space to host drinks receptions and formal dinners in. Next door is the equally impressive Christie's Bistro which hosts dinners for up to 120 and drinks receptions for 200.

Chancellors Hotel (see separate entry) really is a hidden gem, just 3 miles from the city centre, in the style of a country house hotel but in the city. It offers 72 3* AA rated bedrooms, a theatre for 130, breakout rooms, disabled access, free parking on-site for 80 cars, as well as 5 acres of mature, landscaped grounds which can be used for team building, barbeques or just to sit back and relax in.
