BEL AIR AT THE BELFRY SUPPORTS LIVESTRONG DAY OCTOBER 2010
Bel Air, The Belfry’s on-site nightclub is celebrating international LIVESTRONG Day. On Saturday 2nd October 2010, Bel Air staff will don the yellow wristband to join the fight to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Bel Air Manager, Mark Green with resident DJ Mark ‘Porky’ Porter is holding the event in celebration of Mark Porters winning battle.
“There are 300 events, in 262 cities, in 41 countries so far on LIVESTRONG Day. Bel Air is incredibly proud to one of only nine events in the UK; proud to be on the map” said Mark Green. “Even the bell tower has its own yellow LIVESTRONG band!”
Doors will open at 21.00 and entrance is just £5. All door money will be going to Macmillan Cancer Support, The Belfry’s national chosen charity to support during 2010.
Mark comments “We are hoping to fill the club on 2nd October to raise as much money as possible. So whether remembering a loved one, celebrating a personal battle or supporting the fight, please make a commitment and attend.”
