Description

Kew Gardens Logo
The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has a variety of stunning, unique and awe-inspiring venues. Whether you are organising a wedding ceremony and reception, a corporate conference or a private dinner, Kew’s diversity offers clients an astonishing variety of spaces to match your creative vision and production/budget requirements. You and your guests will never forget their experience at Kew.

Cambridge Cottage is a Grade II listed building and former royal residence, set within its own private gardens, that is ideal for both corporate and private events. The main body of the venue consists of the Gallery which can seat up to 80 for dinner, and the adjacent Drawing Room can seat up to 80 guest’s theatre style. The Cottage is available for day hire and evening hire and comes with its own private Gardens for drinks receptions or BBQs.

The Nash Conservatory is the oldest of the 19th Century glasshouses at Kew and is of major historical and architectural importance. This classical conservatory provides a unique and versatile event space for both daytime and evening corporate events and can accommodate 200 guests standing or in a theatre style or 80 guests in a cabaret style. The Nash Conservatory can be hired in conjunction with the striking Orangery to continue your event into the later hours.

The Orangery is an ideal setting for your evening dinner and dance for up to 200 guests or up to 400 for a standing reception. As a Grade-I listed building, with high ceilings and grand, arched windows, it offers space to celebrate any occasion from wedding receptions to corporate awards ceremonies in an atmosphere that is both stylish and serene.

For a truly unique event experience, enjoy a canapé reception in our living tropical glasshouse, the Princess of Wales Conservatory. Available for standalone hire or in conjunction with any of our other venues, the Conservatory can accommodate up to 200 guests for a standing event.

The Marianne North Gallery offers a one-of-a-kind setting for a private dinner of up to 50 guests. The beautiful gallery houses 832 paintings depicting more than 900 species of plants, all created by Marianne North, a Victorian explorer and artist. Alternatively, you can host a standing evening drinks reception of up to 80 with the option of adding on the neighbouring Shirley Sherwood Gallery for larger events.
Take your guest’s breath away with an event in the World’s largest Victorian glasshouse, the Temperate House. The impressive space can host large evening dinners of up to 230 guests and standing drinks receptions of up to 300 amongst 10,000 species of rare and endangered plants. You can impress your guests with endless history within one of the most unique venues in London.

A range of our different venues offer all-inclusive packages for corporate events, including day delegate rates, corporate BBQs and Christmas parties. For more information on the various packages available, please contact the events team or visit our website at kew.org/venue-hire.

By hosting your event at Kew Gardens you will contribute to Kew’s mission, as all income generated through private and corporate events supports Kew’s vital conservation, education and research programmes.

Kew Gardens are situated on the south bank of the River Thames, on the outskirts of South-West London. We encourage our guests to travel via public transport for environmental reasons. The London Underground or South Western Railway is the best way to get to Kew from the centre or West End of London. Buses serve those living north or south of Kew (Ealing down to Kingston) and the neighbouring suburbs.
