Gibraltar Gibraltar is locatedat the southern tip of Europe, overlooking Africa, which makes it quite simply 'the meeting place of continents'. Few locations offer such exceptional variety in one contained, safe environment. The city offers a blend of the modern and timeless, whilst the relaxing air of the Mediterranean and the winding and bustling streets reflect the cosmopolitan mix of the Gibraltarian culture. Gibraltar's compact size means that facilities and attractions are all easily accessible. The town centre is easily navigable by foot, while the transfer time to hotels from all points of entry is rarely more than fifteen minutes. Gibraltar is accessible by land, sea and air. Daily direct scheduled air services originate from the UK and the flying time is approximately two and a half hours. Charter services can also be arranged privately. Malaga airport serves as another main entry point by air as you can fly there from most major cities. Transfer time from Malaga is approximately 1 ½ hours. The Rock is fast developing into one of the busiest ports of call for international cruise liners and daily air and ferry services linking Gibraltar and Morocco enable visitors to travel speedily between Europe and Africa. Gibraltar's hotels and range of conference facilities complement the destination's extensive heritage, which provides an abundance of things to do and see. In addition, there are unusual venues ideal for product launches or conference settings with a difference. Foremost amongst these is St. Michael's Cave, a dramatic natural grotto filled with stalagmites and stalactites, which has an auditorium that can be used to stage events throughout the year.
