Lord’s reopens Harris Garden following restoration
Lord’s Cricket Ground has relaunched its historic Harris Garden, situated behind the world-famous Lord’s Pavilion.
This charming rose garden is now available for outdoor receptions and incentive pursuits such as croquet, lawn bowls or alfresco meetings.
The Harris Garden can cater for up to 300 guests, with options of packages and upgrades available on request.
Nick Kenton, head of sales (Meetings, Events and Hospitality) at Lord’s said: “We’re delighted to offer the Harris Garden following renovation work that has further enhanced its appeal. Attention to detail is something on which the team at Lord’s prides itself, and the sympathetic restoration work to the garden truly encapsulates this.”
Scout Association’s blank canvas venue launches meetings package
65 Queen’s Gate has launched a fully-inclusive package aimed at focus groups and workshops.
The central London venue, owned by the Scout Association, features Nordic minimalism and functionality of both the interior space and outdoor terracing. It provides planners with an understated ‘blank canvas’ onto which they can tailor their own event styling, for up to 300 guests.
The ‘Focus Groups’ package includes refreshments, AV and room hire for £185. All income generated by the package goes back into UK scouting.
Woodland Grange joins IACC elite
