Park Regis Birmingham Opens £850,000 Event Space

Published: 26 Jun 2018

Park Regis, the deluxe Birmingham city centre hotel, has opened its new conference and events space on the 16th floor, boasting 360° views across the city.

The 5,250 sq ft top floor at the four-star hotel at Five Ways has been completely remodelled and now offers an exclusive elegant events space - boasting floor-to-ceiling windows - in which to host a wide range meetings, events and conferences, as well as lavish celebrations for up to 400 people.

Guests attending an event on Level 16 can enjoy their own dedicated ground-floor entrance, enabling them to check in and drop off bags, if they are staying overnight, before going straight to their event.

With Birmingham’s hospitality scene thriving and the city welcoming more visitors than ever, it was the ideal time to reconfigure our conference and events space to meet the demands of businesses that want a first-class experience, as well as individuals looking for a very special space for weddings and other celebrations,” said Mark Payne, General Manager at Park Regis Birmingham.

We couldn’t be happier with our new Level 16, offering stunning, flexible spaces with incredible, 360° panoramic views of the city. We’ve created something unique in the city’s conferencing and events portfolio and our feedback already suggests that it’s something that both corporate planners and private individuals are looking for.”

The brand new events space includes the ‘Sky Loft’, which can accommodate up to 100 guests, and the ‘Sky Gallery’, with a capacity of up to 300. Both boast brand new bars selling premium beer on draft, as well as an extensive wine list; making Level 16 the ideal place for hosting dinners, charity galas, weddings and other celebrations.

Meanwhile, the 15th floor at Park Regis Birmingham - where the hotel’s conference facilities were previously located - has been transformed into additional meeting rooms and break-out areas.

In total, Park Regis Birmingham is now able to accommodate 450 delegates on floors 15 and 16.

Level 16 was fitted out by Tang Interiors, a group company of Birmingham-based Colmore Tang Construction, which specialises in refurbishment and interiors for the commercial, retail, restaurant and hospitality sectors.
