The Hotel Splendide Royal in Rome is a luxury five star hotel located in the historic heart of Rome, close to Via Veneto and the major attractions.
After an extensive refurbishment, this 19th century palace – once headquarters of the Roman Maronite community – is today a luxury hotel and in its own way, is a symbol of the changes taking place within the city’s fine tradition of hospitality.
Recently baptized as Splendide by guests themselves, the hotel is full of that warmth and kindness found usually only among friends. Guests appreciate the richness in Baroque style and the spacious interior, reminiscent of the noble palaces of 17th century Rome.
The Murano glass chandelier which Luchino Visconti chose for the ballroom scene in his masterpiece film “The Leopard”, now lights up the hotel’s hall. The marble floors’ all feature amazing geometric designs.
