Description

Royal Hospital Chelsea Logo

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is a historic venue in the heart of Chelsea a stone’s throw from the King’s Road with stunning views across the Thames, the Royal Hospital offers a range of versatile indoor and outdoor spaces from meeting spaces for 10 to receptions for 300 guests.

The hospital was founded in 1682 by King Charles II and transformed into the grand setting it is today by Sir Christopher Wren. Built as a haven for veterans, it has provided care for former soldiers and hosted events for over three centuries.

The Grade I and II* Heritage Listed buildings house exquisite period interiors, featuring a wealth of architectural detail. Outside spacious and elegant courtyards and gardens create the perfect setting for any occasion. The Royal Hospital provides a team of dedicated, and experienced events specialists to ensure that every event is truly incredible. With a portfolio of approved suppliers, on-site security and parking, and years’ worth of knowledge our team work to unforgettable moments.

By hosting an event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, you are directly helping to fulfil our commitment to provide comradeship, care and recognition for the Chelsea Pensioners and the wider veteran community. Every event contributes towards preserving our precious centuries-old heritage, maintaining our grounds, architecture and collections, and providing a home for the next generation of veterans.
