Location & Parking: St Andrews, Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. Borders the world-famous 17th ‘Road Hole’ of the legendary Old Course. Spectacular views across the links courses to the sea, The Grampians and St Andrews.

The hotel is easily accessible by road, rail or air; an hour’s drive from Edinburgh (regular flights from London Heathrow to Edinburgh), a 15-minute drive from Dundee airport (daily flights from London City airport) and under a two-hour drive from Glasgow. St Andrews Leuchars Air Base (private/chartered aircraft up to Boeing 737 by arrangement) and Leuchars station (daily connections from London Kings Cross via Edinburgh) are both a five-minute drive away.

A helipad is available on site at The Duke’s and may be utilized by prior arrangement.
Restaurants: The Road Hole Restaurant (3 AA Rosettes) – The highest quality local organic produce complemented by an extensive, sommelier-chosen wine list. Stunning panoramic views over the Old Course to the sea.

Sands Grill – A relaxed yet stylish atmosphere, the Sands Grill emphasises seasonal ingredients including fish, locally caught seafood and locally farmed steaks.

The Jigger Inn – this historical building dates back to the 1850’s, when it was the stationmaster’s lodge, and the history and heritage lives on. Today, The Jigger Inn is home to golfing memorabilia, cracking open-hearth fires, home-cooked food and a superb selection of Scottish beers and widely accepted as the must visit 19th hole by all who play golf in St Andrews

The Duke’s Bar & Grill – Traditional wood panelled bar & restaurant leading onto the Captains’ Room for private parties between 12 - 20. The Clubhouse provides a warm atmosphere with spectacular views of the resort’s own championship golf course, The Duke’s, and the coast. There is a terrace overlooking the course for al fresco dining on warm days

Hams Hame Pub & Grill - Is a fabulous venue offering outstanding Scottish cuisine that showcases the best ingredients – seafood landed on the harbours of the East Neuk’s fishing villages, carefully selected pork, beef and poultry reared by award-winning producers across Scotland…as well seasonal fruits and vegetables chosen for their flavour from farms, some of which overlook St Andrews.

The Conservatory - Serving an award-winning afternoon tea experience with a delicious selection of delicate pastries and cakes, created by the hotel’s pastry chef, including home-made plain scones and lemon pancakes with clotted cream and strawberry and pink champagne preserve.

Built in 1968, the hotel was redesigned to coincide with the 1984 Open Championship and reopened by HRH The Princess Royal. Kohler Co. acquired the hotel in October 2004 and the comprehensive investment programme is now complete.

• Kohler Waters Spa experiences harness the therapeutic benefits of water, providing remineralisation using the healing properties of dried seawater composed of over 100 trace minerals
• Remineralising treatments focussing on every cell in the body being nourished. Trace minerals are absorbed into the body through the skin’s surface to replace those depleted through stress, improper diet and environmental factors. Remineralising treatments re-create the healing properties of Earth’s natural mineral-rich waters. Returning to basic water rituals is at the heart of Kohler Waters Spa

The Duke’s: St Andrews is widely regarded as the “Home of Golf” and The Duke’s is the only inland course amongst the famous list of the courses that form part of the Royal & Ancient game’s history. The Duke’s has been remodeled by American architect Tim Liddy, a pupil of Pete Dye, one of the best-known names in golf design.

Officially re-opened in June 2006, the new-look par 71 heathland course situated in the 350 acre Craigtoun Park measures 7,512 yards from the back tees
