Description
Hever Castle dates back to 1270, but it was during the 15th century that it was to become the home of one of the most powerful families in the country, the Boleyns, thus becoming the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife to King Henry VIII and queen of England for 1000 days.
Hever Castle, offers two venues:
The Astor Wing: Designed in Tudor style, this exclusive use wing of Hever Castle was created by William Waldorf Astor in 1904. Boasting an impressive Tudor style meeting space, The Astor Wing has been recently refurbished and now incorporates state of the art audio visual facilities, accommodating meetings for to 60 guests and also offering a sublimely comfortable lounge and Billiards Room. There is a championship golf course, an outdoor heated swimming pool and a tennis court. There is even the option to incorporate a Private Guided Tour into your event and stay overnight in one of the 28 luxury, 5 star bedrooms.
The Guthrie Pavilion in The Italian Garden: With its lakeside location in the award winning Italian gardens, this versatile, contemporary venue on the Hever Castle Estate, accommodates up to 200 guests for meetings and functions. Offering the flexibility of being used for either a conference or a dinner and being perfectly situated next to our events field allowing for outdoor activities and motorised sports to be incorporated into an event. Located in the award winning Italian Garden, The Guthrie Pavilion is perfect for summer and Christmas parties.
