Located on the A371 and only four miles from the well serviced Castle Cary train station, the Showground is easily accessible from all corners of the region.

Extensive hard standing and grassed car parking space caters for anything up to 10,000 vehicles.
Restaurants: The Wessex Pavilion serves as the on-site Bar & Restaurant & offers two adaptable spaces that are available to hire with capacity for up to 500 guests on the ground floor & 350 on the first floor.

The Bath and West Showground combines the modern requirements typically found in the city with the relaxing & beautiful Somerset countryside, offering an idyllic venue for your next event.

Nestled in the heart of the West Country, the Bath & West Showground is a unique, versatile venue with a variety of inspiring indoor and outdoor event spaces.

Although best known for the annual Royal Bath & West Show, one of the largest multi day agricultural shows in the country, the site has played host to a wide range of public events, exhibitions, conferences together with world class sports, recording artists and record-breaking music festivals.

Today with a vision to develop more exciting events and bring back the nostalgia of yesteryear, the site is as busy as ever, hosting events for individuals, regional event management companies and large scale national corporates, promotors and agents. As the largest events and exhibition venue in the South West, the site plays a key part as a landmark in the region, offering a variety of unrivalled indoor pavilion space in varying sizes and configurations, plus ample outside space consisting of grassed areas, a viewing grandstand for 1,200 overlooking a three acre outdoor arena and in excess of three miles of roads and tracks.

Spread across the spectacular site of 240 acres, and parking for up to 12,000 across a variety of car park configurations, the Showground features 6 sizeable indoor venues with numerous other meeting, conference & exhibition spaces with a new addition to the site in 2019, the Wessex Pavilion. A multifunctional venue able to cater for up to 850 diners spread over two separate self contained floors of 500 and 350 respectively. This fantastic new facility is now the largest dining venue in the region able to comfortably host corporate and private dinners, balls and award ceremonies.

Whether accommodating a head count for just a few delegates or 150,000 visitors, the extremely adaptable environment, with its range of facilities and resources, can be tailored to suit any event.
