We kick-start November with five newly enhanced member profiles for your perusal.
November’s new sign-ups to our free-to-use venue finding service include an outdoor activity centre in North Wales, a Scottish hotel, two hotels in the heart of England, a Cotswolds retreat, plus a well-known conference and exhibition centre in Blackpool.
Adventure Parc Snowdonia in North Wales (pictured above) is an events location with heaps of ‘wow factor’ – from the drama and roar of its wave pool to the knock-out backdrop of the magnificent landscape.
Its unique facilities mean it can cater for some adrenalin-packed team building for groups of up to 70. Activities range from surf lessons to indoor caving, climbing walls and zip lines to mountain biking and gorge walking.
Onsite accommodation is currently cosy glamping pods (which all have underfloor heating). In Autumn 2020 however, Adventure Parc Snowdonia will see the opening of a new Hilton Garden Inn, offering 106 bedrooms and event space for up to 200 adventurers.
Next up, the 101-bedroom Ramada East Kilbride (pictured above) is situated in the very heart of East Kilbride, Glasgow.
It has five meeting rooms, fully equipped with flat screen TVs, air conditioning, black-out blinds, HDMI connectivity, flip charts, wipe boards and a presenter podium, for up to 80 delegates.
The two hotels located in the heart of England are Moor Hall Hotel & Spa - a four star country house hotel set in beautiful parkland, within easy reach of Birmingham, and Days Inn by Wyndham Donington A50, close to Donington Park Race Track.
The 83-bedroom Moor Hall Hotel & Spa has six meeting rooms for up to 250 delegates.
Meanwhile, Best Western The Gables, a family owned and run hotel set in picturesque South Gloucestershire on the edge of the Cotswolds has 46 bedrooms and eight meeting rooms for up to 200 delegates.
Last, but by no means least, Winter Gardens Blackpool offers five acres of connected spaces to suit large conferences, exhibitions and award ceremonies, plus more intimate dinners and receptions.
The iconic Empress Ballroom (pictured above), Opera House (pictured top) and Olympia Exhibition Hall, provide capacities for over 2,000 delegates.
Three more venues, ideal for events up to 1,000 delegates include the Arena, Spanish Hall, plus the oldest venue at Winter Gardens Blackpool - the Pavilion and Horseshoe.
The Blackpool Conference and Exhibition Centre (pictured below) is a brand new, purpose-built venue, opening in 2020. It is the first major building development to happen on the Winter Gardens complex since the construction of the Opera House in 1939.
The new venue will be split over two floors, with an exhibition space on the first floor and a conference space with a capacity of 2,000 on the second floor.
With a total 2,400sqm of dedicated space, the Blackpool Conference and Exhibition Centre will easily host large events.
It will also be possible to utilise the space in conjunction with other venues throughout the Winter Gardens complex, creating a maximum combined capacity of over 7,000 delegates.
