Venuefinder celebrated 40 years of providing free, impartial venue sourcing advice and information last night with a lavish party for members.
Held at The Green Room, part of Colours in Hoxton Square, London, the party also served as a platform to announce the inaugural Venuefinder Awards & Variety Night, planned for October next year.
Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and food, which included a birthday cupcake for every member who joined in the celebrations.
Cathryn Basden, venuefinder.com manager said: “This is what our platform is all about - bringing venues together. It’s been a fantastic year for the venuefinder brand. We’ve launched our new-look website, along with our first set of awards and there’s so much more to come. It’s an exciting future and we want our entire family of venues to be a part of it.”
The Green Room is the private hire space at Colours, linked up in a “U” shape with the rest of the venue. The space has its own private, dedicated heated terrace, DJ booth and bar. An LED coloured lighting system covers the ceiling and interacts with the music.
