Published: 13 Sep 2019

Following the announcement of the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League group stage fixtures, anyone looking to book a major conference, exhibition or gala event this autumn is set to score today as Chelsea Football Club unveiled a raft of new dates.

Previously on the bench because of potential fixture clashes, the midweeks commencing 30th September, 21st October, and 25th November can now all be booked for events, providing an excellent opportunity for those looking to secure an iconic central London venue at short notice.

When the Blues are kicking off their first away group game in France to play Lille on 2nd October, companies, industry organisations or charities are set to be playing at their home ground, taking advantage of the diverse range of event spaces Chelsea Football Club has to offer.

From The Great Hall that is transformed from the match day concourse to a memorable space that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests, to the versatile Centenary Hall that accommodates 320 people and boasts inspiring views over the pitch. Chelsea Football Club is a venue with multiple options, and a unique football heritage that promises an unrivalled atmosphere.

Many major conferences and exhibitions are already booked to take place at Chelsea Football Club this autumn. Including GIANT Health Event 2019, Europe’s largest innovation in health tech conference, PHEX 2019, the UK’s leading exhibition for plumbing and heating professionals, and Sports Video Group’s FutureSPORT conference.

Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Development at Chelsea Football Club, commented: “As a busy football venue we always have to work around fixtures, but this means we are used to delivering largescale events for our clients at short notice. We are delighted to be offering these newly available dates on a first come first served basis.”
