September's magnificent seven

A magnificent seven venues have signed up to venuefinder.com this past month, including two hotels, one football stadium, one theatre, a museum and two conference centres.

The Sallis Benney Theatre (pictured above) can be found on the Grand Parade in Brighton. It has a meetings capacity of 272 and can be used in conjunction with the University of Brighton Gallery, plus a number of lecture theatres and seminar rooms. 

Redemption House Conference Centre (RHCC) in Stevenage hosts three large conference rooms, all fully equipped and air-conditioned – ideal for all types of business event. The rooms are each 150sqm and can be combined to accommodate up to 450 people in a theatre-style layout. 



The Portsmouth Guildhall (pictured above) has a meetings capacity of 2000 and nine individual meeting rooms, ranging from the elegance and intimacy of the Lord Mayor’s Banqueting Room and Portsmouth Room, to the contemporary setting of the new Guildhall Studio. 

In September 2017, Villa Park, home of Aston Villa Football Club launched its new events space, a result of a £1 million investment with the redesign and contemporary refurbishment of a number of spaces within the Trinity Stand. The new Directors Club is a designed for premium events and a unique feature of an Executive box, ‘Directors Boardroom’ situated within the room.



The National Railway Museum in York (pictured above) is a celebration of human endeavour and achievement. The stories that run through the collection provide creative and inspiring backdrops for a wide range of events, for up to 1000 guests. 

Finally, our two new hotel members this month are Middletons York and Hyatt Place in Hayes, West London. 

The 56-room Middletons Hotel is spread over six historic, Grade II listed buildings. It has five meeting rooms and a capacity for 70 delegates. 

Hyatt Place West London / Hayes has 170 bedrooms and four meeting rooms for up to 55 delegates.
