John Hayes MP, Minister of State for Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning, was invited to give a speech at the launch of Impact Apprenticeships, based at Loughborough College. Futures Restaurant were very pleased to be the host venue, and welcomed Impact Apprenticeships, MEGT and John Hayes MP on 24th November 2011, along with 80 stakeholders. John Hayes spoke of the importance of the concept of an Apprenticeship Training Agency and how Impact Apprenticeships are following the successful working model of MEGT from Australia.
Guests later enjoyed a hot and cold buffet supplied by Futures Restaurant and heard from the current young people on the apprenticeship scheme.
