The atmosphere promoted at St Katharine’s engenders trust and security for groups of people from all walks of life who know that their requirements will be treated with the utmost respect and discretion.

St. Katharine’s is one of the oldest religious foundations in Great Britain, was founded in 1147 by Queen Matilda, the wife of King Stephen, as a hospital for the poor, outside the walls of the Tower of London. It remained there for 678 years until the construction of St. Katharine Docks in 1825.
