Oakwood House Hotel is a superb Victorian mansion set in Oakwood Park, near Maidstone. Just 10 minutes from the M20 and with ample on-site car parking facilities, Oakwood is the ideal venue for your conference needs.
Built in 1870 as a private family home, Oakwood today is a popular conference venue offering a wide range of meeting and function rooms, with sizes and styles to suit all occasions. There are 18 conference rooms, from the smallest, seating 6 delegates, right up to our largest, which will seat 250. The refurbished Victorian mansion combines elegant surroundings with modern conference facilities.
The high ceilings of this historic house lend an air of spaciousness and grandeur to the rooms. While some are adorned with period features such as decorated fireplaces, antique oil paintings and beautifully crafted oak panelling, others have contemporary styling and furnishings.
The purpose-built John Wigan conference room is elegant and spacious with plenty of natural light and boasts air conditioning, the latest in audio-visual technology, removable stage area and seats up to 250 delegates theatre style, or 160 cabaret.
FREE broadband Wi-Fi internet access is available in all our conference rooms and public areas.
