venue description
The award-winning National Media Museum (NMeM) offers five floors of spectacular galleries, two state-of-the-art auditoria, in-house TV studios, dedicated conference suite and the IMAX experience – all housed behind a magnificent glazed façade.
With its wealth of spaces, as diverse in size as in subject matter, this versatile venue can accommodate conferences or receptions for up to 300, product launches, unique teambuilding experiences, festivals,
exhibitions, premieres and buffets or seated dinners for up to 180 guests.
Event TV invites delegates to use a real TV Studio to create their own television programme for a teambuilding experience. Available as a full or half-day, or as an event icebreaker; the team will script, rehearse and film their own show – be it a news programme, chat show or sitcom; working together to ensure that the programme goes ‘live’ on time. A range of other wholly unique teambuilding experiences are also available, including animation workshops and ‘Make your own movie trailer.'
The Games Lounge is a new attraction, where guests can plug into the history of videogaming, play classic, groundbreaking games in their original arcade or console formats and discover the story behind a global phenomenon. To enhance daytime and evening events, guests can interact and play their way
through the titles that helped videogaming become one of the most successful entertainment industries in the world.
