The 4-star Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa is a 700-year-old listed country house. Its original turrets, porticoes and wood-panelled rooms evoke memories of a bygone era, yet its modern facilities make this one of Lancashire’s most unique hotels.
Our conference centre hosts six air-conditioned meeting rooms as well as offering high spec equipment such as smart boards and spider phones. The hotel's largest suite, Pendle Suite, provides conference facilities for up to 400 delegates and is ideal for larger events boasting its own stage area and PA system. The hotel also has a further eight suites, including the Oak Room which has floor-to-ceiling oak panelling and a traditional fireplace, and the Portrait Room, with its ornate décor and chandelier.
Through the hotel’s Meet with Mercure offer, all delegate packages include free Wi-Fi and LCD projector plus inclusive refreshments from mid-morning breaks to afternoon tea.
Easily accessible from all major cities, with excellent motorway access, we are located just 200 yards off J7 of the M65, 10 minutes from the M6, 35 minutes from Manchester airport. Blackburn railway station is our nearest mainline station and is approximately 10 minutes.
The hotel has a total of 175 spacious bedrooms and our executive rooms have complimentary broadband, desk, fluffy robes, slippers and luxury toiletries.
