This 3-star hotel, a collection of 18th century farmhouses with 128 bedrooms, is located on the edge of the Pennine Moors. A street runs directly through the Hotel and is lined with unique shops, a tea shop and even our own pub.
The hotel’s flexible Pennine Suite can accommodate up to 700 delegates theatre style set up or can be split into two with the Holcombe side holding 370 delegates and the Firwood side holding 290 delegates. An additional 14 meeting rooms offer the flexibility for smaller meetings from 2 to 200 delegates.
As a training venue we have a dedicated conference centre with eight rooms all in one area for up to 25 delegates in a U-shape. The newly refurbished restaurant is ideal for dinner at the end of a day’s meeting or you can relax in the Spa Naturel which includes indoor pool, techno-gym, sauna and beauty rooms.
Through the hotel’s Meet with Mercure offer, all delegate packages include free Wi-Fi and LCD projector plus inclusive refreshments from mid-morning breaks to afternoon tea.
