King’s House Conference Centre is steadily becoming one of Manchester’s premier medium-sized versatile conference venues, perfect for a wide range of conferencing requirements. In these challenging economic times, spend your money wisely by holding your event with us.
 
We are located in the heart of The Corridor, an area on the southern side of the city centre, home to two leading universities, The Central Manchester Hospital and Manchester Science Park. We are served by excellent public transport links and have an arrangement for discounted parking at a local NCP car park.
 
We have a recently upgraded, fully air conditioned, high quality Auditorium perfect for day conferences from 80 to 350 delegates. The Auditorium is also ideally suited for shorter presentations for up to 650, exhibitions, product launches, exams and much more. We have a large stage, stage lighting, installed extensive PA system (with several radio microphones) and a ten metre wide projection wall backdrop, for projecting a large centre image from our 5000 lumens HD LCD projector, along with two smaller side images.
 
There are seven other conference and meeting rooms of varying sizes. These are ideal for catering, exhibitions and breakout space from larger events, or as stand-alone rooms for smaller events.
All rooms have natural daylight and most have daylight lighting and natural ventilation.
King’s House is served by building-wide Wi-Fi, professional AV and PA equipment and technicians. We offer a range of catering options from simple sandwich buffets to dinners for 350.
 
Our dedicated and friendly team aim to exceed your expectations as we serve you with excellence. We consistently receive excellent feedback about the venue, our staff and the overall service we provide. We are an independent venue and pride ourselves on offering service with a personal touch.
 
We are confident that once you have held an event here, your experience will mean that you will be keen to return. However, we are also constantly looking to further enhance the facilities and services we offer.
 
We regularly host government departments and other public sector bodies, along with an increasing number of large corporate clients. During a nationwide series of events, one pharmaceutical PLC commented that we were the “friendliest establishment” they’d used.
 
We are AIM Accredited by the Meetings Industry Association and are members of Visit Manchester and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
