Leicester’s King Richard III Visitor Centre is ideally situated in the heart of the city centre. It is home to an award-winning exhibition which tells the story of King Richard III, his life, death and discovery in a city car park.
A range of events and occasions can be arranged at the Centre, from private tours with drinks to meetings, conferences and canapés receptions.
The King's Suite is the primary venue within the Visitor Centre. Formerly the school library, natural light is abundant and the room has plenty of Victorian character with wooden floors, original windows and high ceiling - perfect for conferences, meetings and receptions.
Reception package prices start from £16.00 per person and private tours with refreshments can be arranged from £13.00 per person.
The King’s Suite is air conditioned, with blackout facilities and AV equipment (projector, screen and laptop) is available for use.
Our DDR includes room hire from 9am - 5pm; use of AV equipment – projector, laptop, screen and laser pointer; conference pads and pencils; admission to King Richard III Visitor Centre. Refreshments included in the rate: tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits served on arrival, with lunch and mid-afternoon and a sandwich lunch served with fruit platter and homemade cake.
In addition to a DDR, half-day and hourly rates are available and we can also offer room hire only, AV hire and refreshments separately.
