Kilworth House built in 1888 stands in 38 acres of parkland on the borders of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. This Italianate Country House opened as a Hotel in April 2002 having been meticulously restored over the previous four years. It has two unique features, the outdoor Theatre set in a wooded glade and the Victorian Orangery with stained glass windows on most aspects, weather vanes and finials on the roof and an original black and white mosaic floor.
The views across the Estate are breathtaking with rolling countryside on one side or a short walk through the wild flower garden to the lake on the other. The facilities provided suit both the leisure and corporate guest.
All amenities have been carefully blended into their surroundings creating a unique ambience offering peace and privacy to all individuals.
This well placed Country House is ideal for corporate events, conferences, product launches, Board Meetings or entertaining. For total privacy, Kilworth House can be reserved for exclusive use.
Kilworth House has 44 bedrooms, including 2 four poster rooms and 9 luxury rooms which are individually decorated and furnished with period items. The meeting rooms range from a small boardroom for 12 through to a large room which will accommodate 100 theatre style. The comprehensive business facilities are complemented by excellent food and dedicated service. For the leisure guest facilities include a mini-gym and beauty treatment rooms. In addition within the grounds is located The Staging Post which is a unique log cabin accommodating up to 50 guests; this is situated adjacent to the 550 seat outdoor Theatre.
