Meetings
Hilton Birmingham Metropole has the ideal central location for a successful meeting in the Midlands – especially if you need to be near the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). We are located within the NEC complex, and very easy for delegates to find and reach from the M42, M6 and M5. Birmingham International Airport is only 10 minutes’ drive away, and Birmingham International Railway Station only 5 minutes on foot – and we run a free shuttle bus service to and from both. Our purpose-built conference facilities include a choice of 33 air-conditioned meeting and conference rooms. Holding anything from 2 to 2000 people, they provide the perfect environment for a wide variety of events. Our Monarch Suite is particularly impressive for larger gatherings; it has its own entrance and loading area, and dedicated catering facilities. All our larger rooms can be split into smaller spaces to create break-out areas or syndicate rooms. Whatever size event you’re planning, our specialist conference team, with unrivalled expertise and experience, will ensure every detail goes to plan.
For residential events, our luxury bedrooms and suites can accommodate up to 1400 guests. If you and your colleagues find time to relax, you can take advantage of our LivingWell Health Club with its 20 x 18-metre pool, superb gym facilities, sauna and steam room. Later, unwind with a drink in the 24-hour Lounge Bar, and choose from three contrasting restaurants.
Weddings
At Hilton Birmingham Metropole every wedding begins as you might expect – with a proposal. You tell us exactly what you want, ask a question whenever it occurs to you, and our experienced Wedding Co-ordinator will do the rest, and plan your day to perfection. It's our job to help you relax, enjoy your special day, and remember it for all the right reasons. Whatever number of guests you’ve invited (as long as it’s no more than 2000!), we can set up all the facilities you need. When you’ve chosen your venue, we’ll help you decide on the menu. You can even make it personal to you by including your favourite dish – our chef is more than happy to do something a little different. We are also licensed to host civil weddings and partnerships, and can arrange themed or multicultural celebrations. For your photographs, ‘Pendigo’ lake and the surrounding lawns provide an elegant backdrop.
For those wishing to stay the night, the hotel offers a choice of 790 luxury bedrooms to suit each guest – and there’s a complimentary room for the bride and groom.
