venue description Events & Hospitality QM offers over 100 purpose built venues and facilities to host between 10 and 800 guests across our three central London locations (Mile End, Whitechapel and City of London). Facilities for non-residential events are available year round, with availability for residential events from June to September each year with our 3 star rated accommodation spread across 1200 single en-suite rooms and 100 twin en-suite rooms with 24 hour reception and Internet access. The main Mile End campus is just two miles from the 2012 Olympic site in Stratford, a mile from the City of London and a mile from Canary Wharf, with excellent transport links. All catering is in-house enabling us to offer a range of catering services, from canapé receptions to three-course banquet dinners, at competitive rates and the flexibility to meet all dietary needs. The Octagon at the Mile End Campus is our premier facility, available throughout the year for meetings, conferences, functions, gala dinners, examinations, exhibitions and training events. This Grade II Victorian venue, formerly the College Library offers heritage and timeless elegance, holding up to 150 delegates in a cabaret style and in 2012 celebrating the 125th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone by King Leopold ll of the Belgians.
