The World Class EICC
The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is the ideal venue for events of 300 – 2000 delegates. The EICC’s outstanding facilities include the 1200-raked seating Pentland Suite which offers event organisers the utmost flexibility by transforming into 3 separate auditoria at the touch of a button. A further 4 flexible suites subdivide to create 11 fully self-contained meeting areas. The spacious Cromdale Hall provides 1185sqm of exhibition space or can be set as a stunning banqueting for 850 people.
A winning combination
The EICC’s exceptional facilities, together with the expert team of professionals, are at the heart of its success. The dynamic client services team has been entrusted with some of the world’s most prestigious gatherings such as the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting. Since opening its doors in 1995 the EICC has welcomed almost one million delegates and generated around £300 million in economic impact for Edinburgh.
Developing for the future
The EICC's exciting new events space is due to open for business in spring 2013. The new space will extend and complement the EICC’s existing facilities by adding an additional 1,600sqm multi-purpose hall, breakout rooms and spacious delegate cafe area. The unique hall, with moving floor technology, can be easily reconfigured into several different room set-ups. Event organisers around the world will be able to choose from options including flat-floored exhibition, tiered banqueting, raked-style auditorium and arena mode.
