Congress Centrum Alpbach

Description

The Alpbach Congress Centre has 2,200 square metres of floor space. Most of the structure is embedded in the mountain slope, the design of the building represents a clear commitment to today's spirit of respect for the natural environment, combining the aesthetic benefits of a small footprint with meaningful advantages in energy savings. The main architectural feature is a spiral-shaped gallery with floor-to-ceiling glazing. In addition to the main plenary hall, the centre offers five flexible seminar or committee rooms with state-of-the-art conference systems. The foyers, too, are a multifunctional design and can be used as reception areas, for coffee breaks and catering, or for parallel exhibitions.
