Originally created by John Claudius Loudon, a formidable 19th century Scottish landscape architect, the acres of lush greenery and the equally intriguing glasshouses with their rich array of exotic palms and plants, lends an air of peace and tranquillity seldom found in other venues, especially one so conveniently situated for access to the city centre and major road and rail links.

The venue boasts an extensive selection of quality menus and fine wines which, together with its impeccably high standards of service and food, ensure the very best of attention at all times. The menus are prepared and cooked, using only the finest fresh ingredients, by an expert brigade of chefs and offer an unsurpassable choice from cocktail buffets to gourmet dinners, to suit every occasion.
To complement the excellent range of menus, our wine lists provide a comprehensive selection, each carefully chosen to satisfy the most discerning palate.

The Garden Suite and Terrace Suite provide magnificent venues for all occasions, be they conferences, exhibitions or seminars, luncheons or dinner dances.
The Garden Suite with its elegant styling and decor, offers 5,132 square feet of floor area, seating over 400 guests and can be partitioned if required, to facilitate smaller functions.
The Terrace Suite offers 2,529 square feet with a magnificent, permanent sprung dance floor and is the perfect venue for business and social functions catering for up to 250 guests.
The Loudon Suite and Pavilion Suite (which is only available for evening use), with their sweeping views across the gardens are ideally suited to smaller more intimate events of up to 90 guests.
