The Royal College of Surgeons of England
Venue Description
Welcome to The Royal College of Surgeons of England in Lincoln's Inn Fields, London. The Royal College of Surgeons (previously the Company of Surgeons dating back to the reign of Henry VIII) moved to this site in 1797, and the new building opened its doors in 1813. The College building today is the oldest medical Royal College building in England, to occupy its original site, and to be used for its original purpose. The College has a wide range of elegant rooms available for conferences and meetings with state of the art audio- visual equipment. In recent years the College has enhanced its facilities by providing a range of single, double and twin-bedded rooms with en-suite facilities, in part of the building.
We hope you will not only visit us and use the conference facilities on offer, but that you will also find history, elegance, a beautiful building, and an organisation which has been dedicated to helping people for the last two hundred years.
Location and Parking
The College is centrally located at Lincoln's Inn Fields within easy walking distance of Holborn (Piccadilly and Central lines) and Temple (District and Circle lines) underground stations. Two NCP car parks are situated nearby.
