Situated in the heart of the city with on-site parking facilities and easily accessible from Manchester Airport, The Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester provides a unique and memorable setting for all types of event hospitality. The Museum's atmospheric galleries are available for evening hire and can play host to a wide range of receptions, dinners, presentations and product launches.

Entertain your guests amongst the world's largest collection of working steam mill engines and historic locomotives. The Power Hall can accommodate up to 300 for a drinks reception and 140 for dinner. Let your guests be greeted by historical costumed characters followed by a demonstration of working mill machinery, or take a ride on a full size replica of Robert Stephenson's 1830s steam train before dinner.

Set within a cast-iron and glass Victorian Market Hall, the Air and Space Hall can accommodate up to 300 for a drinks reception or 120 for dinner and houses a unique collection of amazing aircraft. Enhance your drinks reception by taking a trip on our simulator ride Morphis.

Manchester Science is a state-of-the-art gallery, exploring and celebrating the life and work of Manchester's eminent scientists. Alternatively, the changing Special Exhibition Gallery provides inspiration for your event. Both spaces provide an unusual setting for a canapé and drinks reception for up to 200 people. In addition The Loft Restaurant offers a combination of stylish, contemporary design and 19th century warehouse features and accommodates 140 for dinner or 200 for a buffet.

For daytime or evening hire, the Main Building houses a purpose-built Conference Centre, which can accommodate up to 130 delegates theatre-style in the Cardwell Auditorium. An additional 4 breakout rooms seat between 14 and 50 delegates.

Location and Parking

MoSI is situated in the city centre and has 160 car parking spaces on-site. G-MEX metrolink stop and Deansgate railway station are both within walking distance, whilst mainline stations Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria are only 1.5 miles away.
