The property stands in a 60 acre estate along the banks of the River Windrush combining rustic charm with every modern convenience.

The Mill and Old Swan boasts a wealth of oak beams, flagstone floors and pure Cotswold charm. The Old Swan is a traditional Inn with log fires, winding stairways and fine antiques, while the adjoining Mill has been given a Scandinavian influence and won the European Architectural Heritage Award for its design, bringing modern training and conference facilities into a historic building. King Richard III was a regular visitor at The Old Swan and his original crest "The Sun in Splendour" can be found emblazoned in one of the bedroom walls.

All guests have full use of the leisure facilities which include a fully equipped gym, sauna, a multi-purpose court, croquet and many local walks.

Location and Parking

Exit M40 at Junction 8, taking the A40 towards Oxford. Continue round the Oxford Ring Road following signs to Cheltenham along A40. Pass Witney and take the sliproad for Carterton, turn right and follow through Minster Lovell, turn right at "T" junction then immediately left. Follow road until you cross stone bridge. Parking behind The Old Swan.
