Venue Description
Imagine a vast, magnificent place containing over 200,000 of the greatest innovations of science and humanity, where science is serious fun for everyone.
Science Museum Swindon is a former WWII airfield, now a storage site for the National Collections of the Science Museum. Land, air, or water transport, space technology or fire-fighting, the collections are so wide and varied theres something for everyone.
Held in seven giant aircraft hangers, the collection spans a whole spectrum of creative interest from the giant Lockheed Constellation airliner (as used by the Rolling Stones!), early computers and MRI scanners to the first hovercraft and huge wood printing press.

It can also be used as a first class film location.
The site rests on 545 acres with a 35-acre event field and half a mile of hard standing space perfect for outdoor activities. The D4 hangar is a unique venue ideal for receptions up to 1000, gala dinners for up to 600 and award ceremonies.
