Mottisfont Abbey's history shows that it is a perfect place for meetings and fine dining. The monks started offering hospitality about 800 years ago to visiting pilgrims. Then, in the last century, it became something of a retreat for the London social circle, which included George Bernard Shaw.
Today you can continue this fine tradition of socialising in a fabulous setting, abound in history and surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland.
The spectacular rooms, from the intimate to the magnificent, can host functions from 10 to 100 guests internally, whilst the beautiful grounds can hold up to 350 in a marquee. The Trust's experienced events teams will guide you to make the best use of the surroundings and tailor-make your event to meet your requirements and objectives. With an eye for detail, a sense of occasion, and passion for food and impeccable service, the National Trust aims to deliver something truly memorable and special.
