The largest and most sumptuous of suites is the James Braid that offers fantastic views over the 18- hole championship golf course. With its own entrance, reception lounge and bar the suite is able to accommodate 500 delegates and up to 500 guests for dinner. The George Duncan and Nick Faldo suites accommodate 200 and 150 delegates respectively and are both spacious and stylish offering a relaxed yet professional environment.
Located within a mile of junction 19 off the M6, it provides a far more civilised alternative to that of the city centre.
Meeting Room Facilities
Mere Golf & Country Club offers a variety of self contained conference suites accommodating from 2-500 delegates. The James Braid Suite has a capacity to hold 500 guests for a dinner dance with the flexibility of acoustic screens to divide into four smaller rooms when required. The suite has its own private bar and lounge with large picture windows overlooking the Mere. The George Duncan Suite can accommodate up to 200 delegates theatre style and 150 guests for a banquet. This suite has a modern conference appearance and has its own separate bar lounge suitable for pre-dinner drinks. The Nick Faldo Suite is a modern room with its own splendid entrance plus lift access. The suite holds 150 delegates theatre style and 140 for dinner. The three Boardrooms are ideal for more intimate meetings, training and interviewing, each has its own ante room, for a reception area or a break out for tea and coffee.

Renowned as the Wentworth of the North, Mere Golf and Country Club boasts one of the most challenging golf courses in the UK and leads the field in providing a first class service when arranging corporate golf. The championship 18 hole course, designed by James Braid (1934) is one of the finest inland courses in the North. The idyllic lakeside setting also features a floating ball driving range and computerised indoor teaching centre. Golf packages are flexible to suit all requirements and our experienced Golf Co-ordinator, Starter and Administrator will alleviate many of the headaches encountered in organising your day. Alternatively or along side your golf day, we can organise all forms of outdoor activities such as team building, Laser pigeon shooting, Archery, Quad biking, Golf clinics and much more.
Location and Parking
We are located within a mile of the M6 and M56 motorways, less than 30 minutes from both Manchester and Liverpool city centres, and just 10 minutes (7 miles) from Manchester Airport. On site parking for 400 cars.
