Englemere
Venue Description
Englemere, a former Royal residence, is a beautifully preserved Victorian house which retains many original features including a magnificent oak tree that dates from the time of Henry VIII. It is set in 12 acres of landscaped gardens which feature a delightful formal garden and fountain. It's easy to reach Englemere from the M3, M4 and M25 motorways or by train from London Waterloo, the West and the Midlands. There is also ample free parking on site.
Englemere was once the home of Field Marshall Lord Roberts of Kandahar who was the Chief of Staff to Lord Kitchener and present at the relief of Mafeking. It also became the home of two of Queen Victoria's grandchildren, Princess Helene and Princess Marie Louise during the Second World War.
Today Englemere is used for a variety of events including conferences, meetings, seminars, training days, private parties, weddings, Christmas parties, corporate and private parking and entertaining during Royal Ascot Week.
There are seven well equipped meeting rooms all with natural daylight which can accommodate 10-120 delegates. Our grounds can be used for team building events, family fun days, marquee events or summer balls. We offer competitive day delegate rates and often run promotional offers throughout the year.
The dedicated team at Englemere provide a wide choice of imaginative menus coupled with excellent service to ensure that your event is a success.
