Venue Description
Edinburgh Conference Centre offers year-round facilities for international conferences, exhibitions, sales presentations, product launches and management and training events.
The main facility is the James Watt Centre, a purpose built venue accommodating a 600-seat auditorium with adjacent seminar rooms. This self-contained venue combines flexible meeting space with a dedicated exhibition hall of over 1000m2. This hall can be transformed into a glamorous and stylish venue for cabaret style conference and events.
The Cedar, Oak and Beech rooms provide additional all year meeting space for 10-90 delegates.
All year facilities are complemented by the Lecture Theatres and academic seminar rooms which are available in the evenings, weekends and during vacation.
Full conference support services are available in the form of a dedicated team of conference co-ordinators offering conference organisers continuous support and a high level of personal care.
Additionally the Centre offers organisers the convenience of specialist support from services based at Heriot-Watt University including language interpretation services and a dedicated media studio providing extensive audiovisual support.
Together with 165 all year round ensuite bedrooms and over 900 bedrooms available in vacation periods, ECC offers fantastic value and flexibility all year round, whatever the size of your group or the objective of your event.
Set in tranquil parkland on the edge of Edinburgh, ECC is conveniently located for access to major road networks and air routes and there is ample free parking.
Location and Parking
Located to the West of the city, Edinburgh Conference Centre is three miles from Edinburgh Airport and six miles from the city's central coach and railway stations. With free delegate parking, it is only minutes from Edinburgh city bypass, which connects directly with all major road routes.
