Venue Description

The East Wintergarden is a stunning events venue in the heart of Canary Wharf. The spectacular glass covered atrium boasts a light and elegant atmosphere perfect for hosting events, whether it is for 50 or for 1000, the East Wintergarden provides the solution with flair, expertise and imagination.

This stylish venue comprises of a 27-metre high arched glass roof structure, 682 square metres of uninterrupted Italian marble floor and steamed beech wooden wall panelling, a mezzanine-style gallery suspended above the main space, and the adjacent Promenade Room.

The main space accommodates up to 500 guests for banqueting and 1000 for standing receptions. The magnificent glass structure offers a unique feel as guests look up to the sky through the atrium roof. An elegant sail is suspended above the gallery and integral lighting highlights the architecture to great effect. In addition, the gallery spanning the full width of the venue overlooking Jubilee Park and the waterfront promenade of Heron Quay, can also be hired for smaller functions of up to 250 guests and provides additional space for reception drinks, lounge bar or exhibition area. The Promenade Room makes an ideal business centre, VIP suite or meeting room for up to 35 guests seated.

The East Wintergarden has been designed to accommodate a wide variety and style of functions. The power, communication and control lines have been recessed throughout the floor and walls creating a clean, transparent venue which is versatile enough to facilitate the wildest creations of any event producer.

Adjacent to the entrance to the Jubilee Line Station and a short walk from Canary Wharf and Heron Quays DLR stations, the East Wintergarden is less than 15 minutes from the City, the West End and London City Airport, making it the ideal venue for any London and South East based organisation.

Adjacent to the Jubilee line station and the DLR stations at Heron Quays and Canary Wharf, with ample on-site parking. The Limehouse link tunnel provides a fast connection to the city and city airport and to the east direct links to the M25, M11 and A406.
