Dillington House
Venue Description
Dillington House is one of the west country's finest residential centres for conferences, meetings, training and professional development events.
The House was formerly the home of George III's Prime Minister, Lord North, and dates back to the sixteenth century. Surrounded by parkland, the magnificent historic buildings and beautiful grounds make it a perfect venue for achieving quality time away from the distractions and pressures of the workplace.
The House and Mews buildings offer a wide range of fully-equipped conference rooms including the attractive courtyard theatre accommodating up to 160 delegates. The grounds offer a variety of possibilities for team building activities and ideal spaces for quiet time and reflection. Twenty-five en-suite bedrooms enable residential events to take place at one of Somerset's most beautiful Manor houses.
2008 sees the opening of a new, fully accessible, stylish contemporary building providing two additional large studio rooms and fifteen luxury en-suite bedrooms.
At Dillington you will experience a friendly, flexible and professional service at competitive rates with no hidden extras. In not being a hotel we understand the needs of the conference and training market and are focused on achieving and then exceeding expectations.
For residential groups of 12 persons (or more) travelling together we will arrange a free luxury transfer from Taunton to Dillington.
The Dillington experience is unique - the setting is beautiful and inspirational, the service professional and unobtrusive, the food wholesome and delicious.
