Venue Description
Cherkley Court & Gardens is set in 400 acres of park and woodland in the Surrey Hills. Home of the Press Baron and Cabinet Minister, the 1st Lord Beaverbrook between 1910 - 1964 and now run by the Beaverbrook Foundation.
Most of the newly refurbished rooms are interconnected and offer direct access onto stunning terraces, with unrivalled views across 16 acres of landscaped gardens to the Mole Valley. Despite its proximity to Central London, the house and grounds are wonderfully secluded and secure.
With a choice of six meeting rooms, from the cosy Morning Room to the Art Deco Kipling Room, or light and airy Orangery, Cherkley Court can accommodate 10 - 250 guests.
The Saloon holds up to 65 delegates theatre-style whilst the Orangery can comfortably accommodate 86 people theatre-style or 100 cabaret-style, making this the perfect setting for small conferences, think-tanks and business forums. All of the meeting rooms have free wireless broadband Internet access and natural light.
Dorking and Leatherhead train stations, with services to London in under 60 minutes, are a mere 5 minutes drive away and Cherkley Court is located only 2 miles from Junction 9 of the M25. Gatwick and Heathrow are approximately 35 minutes drive away.
You may choose a daily delegate rate or room hire with bespoke menus created by our superb brigade of chefs.
Although Cherkley Court has no overnight accommodation, we have secured a corporate rate at the Mercure Burford Bridge Hotel (4*) five minutes drive away.
