Built as a private sporting estate, Bovey Castle is located in the heart of Dartmoor National Park.

With 65 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, staterooms and suites, each individually styled with elegant simplicity. Grand reception rooms overlook the formal gardens and parkland beyond.

Dining at Bovey Castle can be informal in the Club House or more formally in the exquisite Palm Court Dining Room or one of our sumptuous private dining rooms.

Situated across the courtyard, the Mews provides a fully serviced state of the art business and conference centre. A secluded and focused venue with a range of flexible and modern meeting rooms all offering natural daylight and a fully equipped business centre. The Castle can also be taken exclusively for a private event which gives you full use of all bedrooms and facilities.

Bovey Castle has an 18-hole championship golf course, holistic spa, spectacular pool and numerous other traditional pursuits on the estate including fly-fishing, falconry, archery and horse riding.

Our activities team have also developed various team building activities for special events and can tailor make a package to your requirements.

Location and Parking

M5 to Exeter, take Junction 31 onto A30 (sign posted Okehampton) take first exit off the A30 onto the A382 into Moretonhampstead. Turn right onto B3212 towards Postbridge. Bovey Castle is 2 miles from Moretonhampstead on the left.
