Sao Paulo is the biggest and most populous in all Brazil. It is also the commercial center of Brazil and contains some of the biggest skyscrapers in the country. The city was founded in 1554, however economic growth began with coffee production and textiles around 1850. Unfortunately, the city has a disproportionate number of people living in slums. The airpot Guarulhos, is 18 miles from the city centre.
