Destination Champion

What is a Destination Champion?

We believe that the best way to add value to our clients is to understand their requirements and recommend destinations and venues based on our own personal knowledge. We are curious and want to see what’s new and we aim to visit our key destinations a least once a year and review over 15 venues in each location.

Nice

Nice is the perfect destination for an International Conference, the climate alone is a major advantage, along with the close proximity to the airport, amazing sea views and wide selection of hotels. It is also a more cost effective option on the Cote d’Azur.

Why I would recommend Nice

As Nice is so easy to get to from the UK – just under 2 hours direct flight, I would recommend it for a variety of meetings and events. The venues in Nice range from small boutique hotels to larger venues that are suitable for small executive meetings to conferences.

Key Attractions

Nice has a rich cultural and artistic heritage; and the Cours Saleya is a great example of this, as one of the liveliest areas of the old town of Nice, where the flower, fruit and vegetable markets take place. There are also lots of trendy restaurants and bars in Nice.

Infrastructure and Transport

Nice Cote d’Azur Airport is approximately 10 minutes transfer from the main Promenade des Anglais. Nice is relatively small and easy to get around on foot and taxi transfers tend to be short and therefore not too expensive. Nice also has a tram system which is very simple to use and a great mode of transport to get around.

Excursions

Monaco is approximately 30 minute coach transfer from Nice; alternatively a helicopter transfer can be arranged and could be a great option for a VIP excursion for a small group or an amazing start to an offsite dinner
