Bet on the G-Gees

Whilst looking through our venues in alphabetical order, we noticed that one particular category has had a bit of a ‘G-up’ of late. Check out these all new G stars. 

Glazebrook House Hotel 

Set in beautiful, secluded grounds, Glazebrook House is a luxurious boutique nine-room hotel and restaurant in South Brent, Devon. Its ethos is to surprise, delight and enrich.

Its conference room seats 12 delegates boardroom style, and the restaurant serves a celebration of local seasonal produce all sourced from within a 50-mile radius. 

Executive Chef Ben Palmer, and Head Chef Josh Ackland run regular cookery workshops and special dining events in the restaurant. While their professional sommelier hosts 20-minute private wine tastings before dinner in the venue’s dedicated wine and whisky tasting room.  

The Gateway Conference Centre

The Gateway is a modern and spacious conference centre in Buckinghamshire. 

Based within the headquarters of Aylesbury Vale District Council, The Gateway Conference Centre is easily accessible with free parking (equipped with electrical charging points), high-speed WiFi and a first-rate in-house catering service.

With five event spaces and four boardrooms, the venue can host conferencing for up to 300 delegates or smaller groups for meetings or presentations. 

Its main conference room, The Oculus, incorporates webcasting facilities and a multi-screen audio-visual system and can comfortably seat 140 theatre-style. 

The Gatsby 

The Gatsby is an AA Rosette award-winning restaurant in Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire. 

The venue offers live music on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday lunch-time and is currently taking private hire bookings for between two and 100 guests during December.

A three-course Christmas meal with coffee and mince pies is priced at £33.95 per person.
