It has been a busy few weeks of showcase events in the UK capital. Here's three highlights from what's been happening in venue land.
Tobacco Dock
Tobacco Dock launched its Dream Circus Christmas party theme on 30 January with a cornucopia of colour and some spectacular circus entertainment.
Dream Circus by Tobacco Dock Food will supply an evening of cirque entertainment for exclusive parties this November and December 2019, with prices starting from £94 per person.
Accommodating between 200 - 5,000 guests, medium and larger businesses can all benefit from a fully staffed, all-inclusive Christmas party.
Performances from singers, magicians and DJs, plus stunts from acrobats and contortionists, will enhance the backdrop of Tobacco Dock’s unique location.
Under the starlit ceilings, a range of menu choices from formal, four-course seated, to standing and street food, as well as expertly mixed cocktails and select wines, is all on offer.
Victory Services Club
Over 70 event buyers from corporates, associations and agencies attended the Venues of Excellence Association and Large Venue Showcase at the Victory Services Club, Marble Arch on Wednesday 6th February.
The guest speaker was Tracy Halliwell, MBE, director of tourism, conventions and major events at London and Partners, who spoke about the ways in which a destination can help event organisers.
For lunch, delegates enjoyed a live sushi station, cured meat station and a dessert station serving a selection of mini treats. The day ended with a gin reception giving delegates the chance to sample the exclusive Victory Services Club Gin and take part in a Twitter photo competition to win a bottle to take home.
30 Euston Square
30 Euston Square unveiled its new digital cinema projection system and 8-screen video wall with a lavish circus-themed showcase on 30 January.
The evening featured magical-live entertainment, aerial performances and in-house catering and cocktails.
On arrival, guests were met guests were met by a 4K 84-inch welcome screen and full floor vinyl cover offering a glimpse into how a simple area can be turned into something spectacular.
Cinematic circus-style imagery and 4K video were broadcast onto the new 5-metre wide 8-screen video wall, located in the Exhibition area adjacent to the Auditorium.
The video wall provides the perfect visual platform to promote branding and sponsorship opportunities, with endless capabilities to turn a blank canvas into a completely custom branded experience for all involved.
