On Friday 2nd November individuals and teams from all areas of the meetings, hospitality and
events industry attended a celebratory awards lunch at The Tower Hotel, London in order to celebrate those teams that go
above and beyond the call of duty.
The miaList Team
Awards, sponsored by Core Process, are presented to outstanding and
passionate teams. College Court, the University of Leicester’s multi-award winning conference centre and
hotel, were delighted to be shortlisted for the award. This then followed a voting system which was open to
clients and industry peers to place their nominations to those who demonstrate
excellence in the industry.
The miaList
formed in 2011 receives a huge number of nominations every year, providing the events and
hospitality industry with a fantastic opportunity to showcase not only their
facilities but more importantly the incredibly passionate people within their
businesses that are pivotal to their success.

College Court are also finalists in the Tourism Awards and the Academic
Venue Awards for no less than 10 awards later in
November. Both these awards honour those who really make a difference within
the industry and reward the venues and attractions that stand apart from their
