Tuddenham Mill achieves AA Silver stars, Hastings Hotels reveals June opening for Belfast’s £53million Grand Central, and InterContinental London – The O2 appoints new GM.

Suffolk hotel impresses AA inspectors
Tuddenham Mill, a restored water mill with 20 bedrooms located between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds, has been awarded four AA Silver stars and retained its three Rosettes for culinary excellence following its AA inspection.

The AA Stars and Rosettes scheme was established in 1908 and is one of the most prestigious awards recognised nationally. It awards establishments based solely on AA Hotel and Restaurant Inspectors critical evaluation with no influence from hotels, restaurants or other guides.

Tuddenham Mill offers meetings space for up to 36 delegates and 12 acres of outdoor space for team building activities.

Nearby Thetford Forest also offers outdoor pursuits such as go-karting, cycling, and clay pigeon shooting.

Northern Ireland’s largest hotel plans June opening
Hastings Hotels has announced that the new £53million Grand Central Hotel will open its doors in Belfast this June.

With 300 bedrooms and 23-storeys high, the Grand Central Hotel will be Northern Ireland’s largest hotel. It will boast two conference suites, three meeting rooms and the Panorama Lounge for private receptions for up to 100 guests.

A restaurant and bar on the first floor is a nod to Belfast’s maritime history and will be named the Seahorse Bar & Bistro.
